Read on to make bath bombs in a few easy steps.

Listed below are the ingredients that you will need to make your homemade bath bombs.

Baking soda - The primary ingredient in this recipe is baking soda. It complements the acidic citric acid and the fizzy reaction.

Citric Acid - This is a necessary ingredient and is required for the fizzing reaction that makes your bathing experience a fabulous one.

Cornstarch - Arrowroot or cornstarch is essential and offers a silky smooth bathing experience. You can use the organic version of cornstarch too. Arrowroot is a good alternative but cornstarch makes better bath bombs.

Oil, salt, liquid - You have a lot of options while picking up these ingredients. For the oil, you can either choose simple yet quality oils like coconut, olive, argan or apricot oil. For the salt, you can either use normal salt or elevate your experience with Epsom salt. This is entirely based on your preference. The same goes to choosing a suitable liquid as normal water such as distilled water can be conveniently used but if you are eager to take your experience up a notch, you can opt for organic witch hazel.

Fragrance - There are endless options to explore. You can pick from your favourite essential oils collection , and fragrance oils. You can even include dried herbs! Based on your need, you can also go for a fragrance-free bath bomb.

Colours - If you are eager to make it a colourful experience, you can add natural pigments too to add colours to your bath bombs. Our store comprises a multitude of colourants needed for this particular application. Again, it is your preference that only matters when making your own products. So, if you are fond of vibrant colours, you can use mica pigments that are naturally strong in colour. Alternatively, you can also add a sense of class and elegance to your bath bombs. Do this by using mica pearlescent pigments such as glitter gold, flash bronze, and sparkle pearl. Furthermore, only use colourants that are approved to use for cosmetic use. Food colouring materials are highly discouraged for use as colours for bath bombs.

Other products - You can easily use a cup to measure the ingredients. However, for a more accurate measurement, you can use a digital scale. It ensures that you get the measurements precisely.

Moulds - For simple bath bombs, you can use your hands to form shapes. However, if you wish to give away bath bombs as gifts, you can use metal moulds to get interesting shapes. Cupcake tins also make a good option.
