It's a very pleasant alternative to the more expensive sandalwood essential oil. Highly recommend it.

hi .. this oil is actually not so nice . it doesn't smell anywhere near to the sandalwood. Anyways, the rest of the things that I bought are nice. N-essentials: As per the previous review, there are many species of sandalwood trees and as the product description above implies, this oil does not come from the 'true' East Indian sandalwood tree - santalum album which can be purchased at http://www.n-essentials.com.au/product/sandalwood-essential-oil/. Instead, the oil comes from the amyris balsamifera species from the West Indies.

Don't buy this sandalwood oil. It smells terrible. N-essentials: Perhaps not what you expected? There are many species of sandalwood trees and as the product description above implies, this oil does not come from the 'true' East Indian sandalwood tree - santalum album which can be purchased at http://www.n-essentials.com.au/product/sandalwood-essential-oil/. Instead, the oil comes from the amyris balsamifera species from the West Indies. PS: I've completely changed my mind about this oil. I had to get used to it. It's excellent but not as good as santalum album Sandalwood Oil.
