WHAT IS CARROT SEED ESSSENTIAL OIL?
Also called “Queen Anne’s Lace”, this carrot seed essential oil is derived from the seeds of the flowering Daucus carota plant through steam distillation. It is packed with skin-friendly properties such as carotene and vitamin A. Such properties are ideal for skincare applications. Aside from that, this humble essential oil houses beta-Bisabolene, Carotol, Daucene, and Daucol that ultimately improve the appearance of your skin.
Carrot Seed Essential Oil has a thin to medium consistency and is golden yellow in colour. Do not confuse carrot seed oil with carrot oil. Carrot oil is simply a mixture of crushed carrot roots and carrier oil, and carrot seed essential oil is not.
